I don't remember Aric ever being mad. When I hear the phrase “If life deals you lemons, make lemonade or more appropriately; if it deals you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys", I think of Aric. No one knew more about how to enjoy life than Aric. He got more out of his short time on this earth than most who live twice as long. I still remember riding in his MG many times with the top down, in the freezing cold, because the top wouldn't go up. We would just put on our down coats and go. I have many great memories of adventures with Aric. Thank you for your service to our country and thank you for being my friend...we miss you buddy!

My heart was broken for you Aric when I learned that you died.  We did not keep in touch after high school.  We weren't even that close in high school.  I just always had a quiet respect and love for you in Concert chorus that I never told you about....you were so fun loving; so enthusiastic; so much the one to just let things roll off your back.  You would always wink at me as if to say, "it's ok Lori...just let it go."  I miss you and that was particularly apparent to me after Brad and Jim came to Colorado this month.....there was such a hole in our little group, such a pain that none of us talked about.  We toasted you and wished you were there.  I can't forget you, can't put aside your death.....we miss you friend and admire you for your devotion and commitment to your country, and most especially to your friends.  I won't ever forget you.  L.

And here we are getting ready for our 30th HS reunion and I can't help but feel a bunch of us should just sneak out and cross over the Arkansas Bridge and have a toast in your honor.  I know you would be there with us!  Miss you!  L.
