Who was your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was Mr. Womack, the drafting teacher. I was one of the very few girls that opted out of home economics to take his architectural drawing classes. He was kind and motivated the class with wit and quiet leadership. I went to OSU and got a degree in commercial space planning/interior design because of him. I now own a marketing and PR company but still have my drafting equipment! I use it to plan trade show booth layouts.

I also loved Mrs. Brill, the English teacher. She was so cool and made every class so much fun. I specifically remember her stories of trying to quit smoking and hiding it from her husband. She was a blast.

Mrs. Brill was also one of my favorite teachers along with Mr. Hinkel.

Mrs. Slagle, the speech teacher.   I was terrified to speak in front of people but she was so encouraging, kind, and complimentary for our efforts in her class.

Has to be Hinkle for me, but Slagle took us to see Rocky so she deserves at least a special mention.  Couldn't get away with that today.

I did love Mr. Hinkle and his dry wit!  Thanks for the reminder!
